Mouse Sensor Accuracy, 1:1 Pixel Precision, Acceleration & Aim Tracking Benchmark
An in-depth look at optical sensor precision, target hit rates, pixel error offset formulas (Δpx), and disabling Windows pointer acceleration.
01.What Defined 1:1 Raw Input Sensor Precision?
1:1 Raw Tracking means moving your mouse physical distance D on your mousepad translates linearly to exact display coordinate distance P = D × DPI, independent of how fast or slow your hand moves across the surface.
When raw input is active, 0 software acceleration, 0 angle snapping, and 0 sensor smoothing curves are applied, allowing muscle memory to build consistent spatial awareness in high-stakes tactical shooters like Valorant and Counter-Strike 2.
02.Disabling Windows "Enhance Pointer Precision"
In Windows Control Panel, the setting labeled "Enhance Pointer Precision" is actually a non-linear velocity curve multiplier. When enabled, flicking your mouse 2 inches quickly moves your cursor twice as far across the screen as moving the mouse 2 inches slowly!
03.Pixel Offset Error Formula (Δpx)
Our Mouse Accuracy Target Benchmark calculates your Euclidean click error offset (Δpx) relative to target center coordinates (x_t, y_t):
A lower average Δpx error rating indicates superior hand-eye coordination, zero sensor jitter, and consistent mouse pad friction glide.
